This place has some amazing sandwiches for a good price. The general products are at a slightly higher price point, but they carry some very delicious items that are sometimes hard to find! As a minority it's tough to feel welcome in certain stores, but I didn't feel like my ethnicity played a role in the excellent service received. Good folk.
I think it is "common issue" among the shops around Whitneyville. they are CHEATING the price. please make sure they are charging you what exactly you put in our basket. they over charge you the item you did not buy! it s very small amounts which is less than 5 dollars, so you can not realize but how bad and how clever is that? they exactly did to me. and this is not the only store did that to me. please do not use your credit card, when you buy multi items. please be vigilant what you buy and how much they put the price on it!

A lovely little market in Whitneyville, people very pleasant, very helpful and you can get just about all your basic needs. The meats are freshly cut, fresh vegetables it may not be Stop & Shop but it's never crowded very quaint and I like it. Just a wonderful little market to go to when you need to pick up something quickly.
The best neighborhood grocery, produce, meat & fish, baked goods in Hamden. Only the best purveyors. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Family run and owned. Five Stars!
